Cleveland Renters Create Music Video to Protest Landlord Dispute
In Cleveland, renters Julia Kim and Cameron Celebuski, both college students, found themselves in a dispute with their landlord, Cindy, after their roommates moved out. The landlord rented out their rooms to new tenants without giving them time to decide on their next steps, as promised. This led to increased rent and daily fees for overstaying. In response, Kim and Celebuski created a diss track and music video titled 'Never Rent from Cindy' to express their frustration. The video, featuring various costumes and musical instruments, gained attention online, with viewers appreciating their creative approach to the conflict.
