Ohio State's Moritz College of Law to Relocate to Historic Huntington Building in Downtown Columbus
The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, along with other university services, is set to relocate to the historic Huntington National Bank Building at 17 S. High St. in downtown Columbus. This move will place students, faculty, and staff at the center of the city's legal, policy, civic, and cultural activities. The project is a public-private partnership involving Ohio State, the city of Columbus, Downtown Columbus, Inc., and Huntington Bank. Downtown Columbus, Inc. will act as the developer and lessor, overseeing the renovation of the existing building. Ohio State will occupy the space under a 30-year lease, with an option to purchase the property in the future. The new downtown location is expected to open in the fall of 2029.
