Former President Bush's 'Portraits of Courage' Exhibit to Be Displayed in Columbus
The National Veterans Memorial and Museum in Columbus, Ohio, will host 'Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors,' an exhibit featuring paintings by former President George W. Bush. The collection includes 66 portraits and a mural depicting 98 post-9/11 service members and veterans. The exhibit, on loan from the George W. Bush Presidential Center, aims to honor the courage and sacrifice of these individuals. The paintings are accompanied by stories written by Bush, detailing the experiences of the depicted veterans. The exhibit also provides resources to support post-9/11 veterans and bridge the military-civilian divide.
