Car Fire Disrupts Traffic on Big Mac Bridge in Cincinnati
A car fire occurred on the Big Mac Bridge in Cincinnati on Saturday, just before 2 p.m. The incident took place in the northbound lanes of Interstate 471, near the Ohio Riverbanks on the Ohio side. The Ohio Department of Transportation reported that the two rightmost lanes of the bridge were blocked as police responded to the scene. A WLWT crew captured video of the car after the fire was extinguished and it was being towed away, showing extensive burn damage to its exterior. The cause of the fire and whether anyone was injured remain unknown. WLWT is actively investigating the incident to gather more details.
