Ohio to See Vibrant Fall Colors This October
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) has released its Fall Color Forecast, predicting a vibrant display of autumn foliage across the state. According to the ODNR Division of Forestry, fall colors are expected to peak in northern Ohio by mid-October, in central and northern regions by mid-to-late October, and in southern Ohio at the end of October through early November. This year's forecast is particularly promising due to the absence of drought conditions and a 50% chance of average autumn weather, which are ideal for producing bright and vivid foliage. Weekly updates on the fall colors will be available on the ODNR Fall Color website starting October 1, along with information on family-friendly events and accommodations at Ohio State Parks.
