Columbus Police Discover Body During Stabbing Investigation Downtown
Columbus police investigating a stabbing incident on Tuesday morning discovered a body outside a building near East Gay Street and North Fourth Street. The discovery occurred as people were heading to work downtown. Crime scene tape was set up around the Continental Tower as officers and the Franklin County coroner conducted an investigation into both the stabbing and the suspicious death. The stabbing victim was transported to the hospital, though their condition has not been released. Police arrived to investigate the stabbing around 8:30 a.m., leading to the subsequent discovery of the body. Neighbors reported seeing numerous police vehicles at the scene.
