Ohio State University Launches New Resource to Attract Events to Campus

The Ohio State University has officially launched 'Ohio State Events,' a new university-wide resource designed to connect external meeting and event planners, as well as internal faculty and staff, with the university's venues, experiences, and expertise. This initiative aims to elevate the university's status as a premier event destination. Ohio State Events acts as a central point of access, streamlining the process for planners to navigate site selection, event proposals, and site visits across more than 150 rentable spaces on the Columbus campus. The resource also facilitates connections to various event-related services, including catering, transportation, technology, and on-site support. This coordinated approach is particularly beneficial for complex events requiring multiple venues and diverse services from across the university.
