Edward Elliot Indicted on Multiple Charges Following Fatal Hit-Skip Crash in Columbus, Ohio
A Franklin County grand jury has indicted 57-year-old Edward Elliot on multiple felony charges, including Aggravated Vehicular Homicide, Vehicular Homicide, and Hit-Skip. These charges are in connection with a crash that occurred on June 25, resulting in the death of 79-year-old Kenneth James. According to Columbus police, the incident took place in a parking lot behind 3797 South High Street. James was driving a Can-Am three-wheeler westbound, while Elliot was driving a 2012 Cadillac SRX southbound. The Cadillac reportedly struck the right rear of the Can-Am, causing James to lose control and be ejected from his vehicle. James was initially transported to Grant Medical Center in stable condition but later died from his injuries in the emergency room. The Columbus Police Department's Accident Investigation Unit responded to the scene.
