Man Dies from Gunshot Wound After Walking into St. Ann’s Hospital, Homicide Investigation Underway in Columbus
A 19-year-old man, Thai Del Ray Hiatt, died from a gunshot wound after walking into St. Ann’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Columbus Police Department (CPD) officers responded to reports of a walk-in shooting victim at the hospital just before 2 a.m. on Thursday. Due to the critical nature of his injuries, Hiatt was subsequently transferred to Mount Carmel East Hospital, where he later succumbed to his wound. The motive behind the shooting is currently unknown, and Columbus police homicide detectives have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Columbus Police Homicide Unit or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers.
