CVS Health and Aetna Support Florida City Families with Back-to-School Event
CVS Health and its subsidiary Aetna recently partnered with Branches, a Florida City-based organization, to host an annual Back-to-School Night. This event provided essential resources and a celebratory atmosphere for families as they prepared for the new academic year. CVS Health contributed a $100,000 donation to Branches to support its ongoing work with children and families. The event featured dinner, an ice cream bar, bounce houses, face painting, and various activities for students and their families. Volunteers from CVS Health were present to assist with serving meals, distributing donated school supplies, and setting up the festivities. Students participating in Branches’ Grow and Climb program at the Florida City site received new backpacks filled with school supplies, and families also received hygiene kits, aiming to alleviate some of the financial burdens associated with the back-to-school season.
