The Gates Foundation has announced a long-term commitment to African health, with a significant portion of its spending over the next two decades directed towards the continent. Boniface Njenga, the foundation's deputy director for health in Africa, stated that this commitment aims to reduce preventable deaths among mothers and children and strengthen African health systems.
