The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) is seeking a Sustainable Fiscal Policy and Public Finance Intern for its Industry and Economy Division (IED) in Geneva, Switzerland. This internship, lasting six months, is open to candidates fluent in English. The IED plays a crucial role in UNEP's Green Economy Initiative, which aims to transition national economies towards sustainable practices by fostering investment in green sectors and promoting sustainable consumption. The Finance and Economics Branch within this division focuses on the interplay between economics, trade, finance, and the environment to advance sustainable development at various levels.
