WestJet Grounds Flights Amid Flight Attendant Strike
WestJet, Canada's second-largest airline, has grounded its fleet following a strike by flight attendants. The strike is due to a dispute over pay, with the union demanding compensation for all time worked, including time on the ground. WestJet has canceled all flights except those operated by its regional affiliate, WestJet Encore. The airline serves 27 destinations in the U.S., and affected travelers are allowed a one-time flight change or cancellation without a fee.
