President Trump described European nations as 'decaying' and led by 'weak' leaders, which was met with a rebuttal from Prime Minister Keir Starmer's spokesperson. The spokesperson emphasized the UK's active role in the Coalition of the Willing and its leadership in imposing sanctions against Russia. Despite the criticism, the UK remains supportive of the U.S.-led peace plan for Ukraine, acknowledging the significant efforts by the U.S. to achieve peace, a goal strongly desired by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The ongoing discussions between Washington, Moscow, and Kyiv have yet to produce a satisfactory outcome for all parties involved.
