Study Reveals British Values Amidst Deep Divisions on Immigration
A recent study by Public First has revealed that despite deep divisions on issues such as immigration, a majority of British people believe they share a common set of values. The study, which surveyed 6,000 adults, found that values such as hard work, community, and fairness are widely regarded as quintessentially British. However, the research also highlighted significant pessimism about the country's future, with many feeling that the UK is more divided than ever. The study comes as political figures like Andy Burnham embark on efforts to unify the nation and address these divisions.
