Prime Minister Netanyahu Dismisses ICC Arrest Concerns Amid U.S. Visit
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has expressed confidence in his safety from International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrants during international travel, citing the protection of Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Special Forces. In an interview with Fox News's Sean Hannity, Netanyahu downplayed the risk of arrest, suggesting that the ICC's actions are a corruption of the international system. He criticized the ICC as an unelected body that could unjustly target American soldiers and leaders. Netanyahu also addressed the calls from New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani for his arrest during his upcoming visit to New York for the United Nations General Assembly. Additionally, Netanyahu met with U.S. President Donald Trump, describing the meeting as highly successful, with discussions focusing on the threat posed by Iran and the importance of preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
