Taiwan-US-EU Public Policy Program Seeks Fellows to Advance Relations and Security
The Taiwan-US-EU Public Policy Program (TUPP) is seeking fellows for its two-week program, which aims to enhance understanding of Taiwan among future U.S. and European policy leaders. Launched in 2017 and expanded in 2022 to include European leaders, TUPP consists of seminars in Washington, D.C., followed by a research trip to Taiwan. The program provides participants with personal experiences in Taiwan to help them appreciate Taiwan's perspectives on cross-strait matters, its global role, and the importance of U.S.-Taiwan relations. Fellows will meet with government officials, business leaders, non-governmental organizations, and academics in Taiwan, gaining exposure to its culture, history, and politics. Eligibility requirements include a Master's degree, at least three years of work experience in a relevant field, and being a U.S. or European citizen or permanent resident between 28 and 43 years old.
