Pam Bondi, the former Attorney General, has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer following her departure from the Justice Department in April. Bondi has undergone surgery and is currently recovering, as reported by CNN. Despite her health challenges, Bondi remains active in public service and is set to join the Presidential Council of Advisors on Science and Technology. Her diagnosis comes after a period of political tension, as President Trump had expressed dissatisfaction with her performance, particularly regarding the handling of the Epstein files. Bondi is also scheduled to testify in the House Oversight Committee's investigation into the Epstein case.
