Ecuador Initiates Deportation of Four Venezuelan Delivery Drivers Following Social Media Video
Ecuador has begun the deportation process for four Venezuelan citizens working as delivery drivers. The decision, according to the Ministry of Interior, is based on security concerns. The four individuals appeared in a video circulated on social media, where they were seen discussing a recently approved law by the National Assembly that regulates delivery services. In the video, they reportedly made light of the new regulations, with one stating, 'If they deport me, I'll come back and continue being a 'delivery' driver.' Minister of Interior John Reimberg shared the video on his X account, followed by another video showing the men with Migration Police agents, accompanied by Reimberg's warning, 'nobody is above the law.'
