Northern Ireland Aerospace Companies Showcase Innovations at AIX Amid Rising Demand
Three Northern Ireland aerospace companies are presenting their innovative solutions at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) in Hamburg, from April 14th to 16th, 2026. These companies, IPC Mouldings, The Exact Group, and Bradfor Ltd, are part of Invest Northern Ireland's trade mission. They are showcasing their capabilities in supplying injection molded components, advanced coatings, engineered parts, and high-performance textiles to major global aerospace manufacturers. The event comes as the aerospace supply chain in Northern Ireland experiences significant growth, driven by a surge in global demand for new aircraft and cabin upgrades. Recent data from industry body ADS indicates an 83% increase in commercial aircraft orders in early 2026, marking the highest February level in three years. This growth is attributed to the companies' customer-centric strategies, investment in innovation, and commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
