According to various reports, including statements from US Vice President Vance, President Trump is open to a ceasefire, facilitated by Pakistani intermediaries. Pakistan's role has been highlighted due to its diplomatic engagements and calls for peace talks, alongside China, in the Strait of Hormuz. The country is actively involved in discussions to ease tensions in the Middle East, while simultaneously dealing with its own regional conflicts. Pakistan's UN envoy has also been engaging with students on global and regional issues, emphasizing the need for organizational reform within the UN.
