Soyuz Crew Completes Eight-Month Space Research Mission with Safe Landing
The Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft has successfully landed on the steppe of Kazakhstan, concluding an eight-month mission aboard the International Space Station. The crew, consisting of NASA astronaut Jonny Kim and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritsky, completed 3,920 orbits around Earth, covering nearly 104 million miles. This mission was particularly significant for Jonny Kim and Alexey Zubritsky, as it marked their first spaceflight. Sergey Ryzhikov, a veteran astronaut, has now accumulated 603 days in space over three missions. The crew will be transported to Karaganda, Kazakhstan, before returning to their respective bases.
