Xpeng Engages Policymakers on AI-Driven Mobility at World Governments Summit in Dubai
Xpeng, a prominent player in the electric vehicle and autonomous driving sectors, made its debut at the World Governments Summit in Dubai. The event, which took place from February 3 to 5, gathered over 6,000 participants, including 35 heads of state and 150 governments. Xpeng's Vice Chairman and President, Brian Gu, participated in discussions focusing on the evolution of AI-powered mobility systems. Gu emphasized that while electrification changes the energy source, intelligence will fundamentally transform how people move and live. He highlighted the integration of hardware, software, data, and algorithms in Xpeng's approach to electric vehicles, autonomous driving, flying vehicles, and humanoid robots. During the summit, Gu also met with Pedro Sánchez, the Prime Minister of Spain, to discuss Xpeng's European expansion plans, particularly in Spain. Additionally, Xpeng engaged with policymakers to explore mobility trends and opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa region.
