Marymoor Park Near Seattle Offers Family-Friendly Outdoor Activities and Unique Amenities
Marymoor Park, located just outside Seattle in Redmond, Washington, is a 640-acre family-friendly green space offering a wide array of outdoor activities and unique amenities. As the largest park in King County, it attracts 3 million visitors annually. The park features a network of scenic trails, a community garden, multiple playgrounds, and manicured sports fields. Unique attractions include Washington's only velodrome, the Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome, which hosts cycling classes and national racing events, including a 'Kiddie Kilo' for children. Additionally, the park boasts a 40-acre off-leash dog park, affectionately known as 'Doggy Disneyland,' and a dedicated airfield for flying model aircraft, managed by the Marymoor Radio Control Club. Marymoor Park also serves as an open-air venue for festivals and concerts, and is home to the historic Clise Mansion.
