Oleksandr Kravchenko, formerly the Managing Partner of McKinsey & Company’s Kyiv office, has been appointed as Ukraine’s Minister of Economy & Environment. His appointment comes as part of a government reshuffle under Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi. Kravchenko brings extensive experience in strategy, transformation, and the energy sector, crucial for Ukraine's ongoing reconstruction and economic challenges due to the war with Russia. He succeeds Oleksii Sobolev and is tasked with strengthening the economy, mobilizing private investment, and supporting Ukraine’s integration into the European economy.
