SBU Arrests Dnipro Resident for Activating 1,000 Starlink Terminals for Russia
The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has detained a resident of Dnipro accused of illegally activating over 1,000 Starlink satellite terminals for Russian forces. The suspect, recruited by Russian intelligence, used personal data from proxy individuals to register the terminals, which were then activated at various postal branches. The SBU has blocked all the illegally registered terminals, cutting off Russian access. This arrest is part of a broader effort by the SBU to dismantle networks facilitating Russian access to satellite communications, following similar operations in Kyiv and Kropyvnytskyi.
