Audias Flores Silva, known as 'El Jardinero', a leading figure in the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), has been captured by Mexican special forces. Flores was seen as a potential successor to the cartel's former leader, 'El Mencho', who was killed earlier this year. The United States had offered a $5 million reward for Flores' capture, as he was considered a major generator of violence. His arrest is part of Mexico's intensified efforts to combat organized crime, especially as the country prepares to co-host the FIFA World Cup.
