Poll Reveals Majority of Americans Believe Trump Administration Shields Epstein Associates
A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll indicates that a significant majority of Americans, including 84% of respondents, believe that powerful individuals connected to Jeffrey Epstein have not been held accountable. The poll, which concluded on Monday, highlights public skepticism towards the Trump administration's handling of the Epstein case. Only 10% of those surveyed felt that the administration had effectively contributed to holding Epstein's associates accountable. The poll results emerge amidst ongoing congressional investigations into Epstein's alleged crimes, which include a 2008 conviction for soliciting an underage girl. Epstein, who died by suicide in 2019, has been a focal point of controversy, with many of his victims alleging that influential figures have been shielded during official investigations. The release of Justice Department files earlier this year, which included names and photographs of several high-profile individuals, has further fueled public distrust.
