Driver Andy Green Attempts New Land Speed Record with Hydrogen-Powered Car in Utah
Andy Green, the first person to break the sound barrier in a car, is attempting to set a new land speed record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats. This time, Green is driving a hydrogen-powered car, the JCB Hydromax, aiming to showcase hydrogen as a clean-energy alternative. The car, developed by JCB, features two hydrogen internal combustion engines and aims to surpass the current records for hydrogen and electric vehicles. Green's attempt is not only a personal challenge but also a demonstration of hydrogen's potential in reducing emissions and promoting sustainable energy solutions.
