Council on Foreign Relations Enhances Global Affairs Literacy for Students
The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is actively working to enhance global affairs literacy among students through its educational initiatives. CFR Education provides free, nonpartisan resources and programming aimed at middle, high school, and higher education students. The initiative covers a wide range of topics, including the relationship between domestic and foreign policy, the influence of non-governmental forces on policymaking, and the roles of Congress and the President in U.S. foreign policy. Additionally, CFR addresses regional politics in Asia, economic issues in Sub-Saharan Africa, and the impact of artificial intelligence on government and conflict. Recent discussions have also focused on China's mediation efforts in the Gulf and Iran's reactions to U.S. military actions.
