Lebanese Journalist's Death in Israeli Strike Sparks Global Outrage
Amal Khalil, a Lebanese journalist, was killed in an Israeli airstrike while reporting in southern Lebanon. The attack, which also injured her colleague, has been condemned by international media rights organizations and Lebanese officials, who describe it as a war crime. Israel denies targeting journalists and claims the strike was aimed at vehicles associated with Hezbollah. Khalil had previously received death threats from an Israeli source, warning her to leave the area.
