Russian General Alekseyev Shot in Moscow Amidst Ongoing Ukraine Conflict
Lt. Gen. Vladimir Alekseyev, a high-ranking Russian military intelligence officer, was shot multiple times in Moscow. The attack follows a series of assassinations of senior military figures, which Russian authorities have attributed to Ukraine. Alekseyev, who has been a key figure in Russia's military operations, was hospitalized following the incident. The shooting occurred shortly after U.S., Russian, and Ukrainian negotiators concluded talks in Abu Dhabi aimed at resolving the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
