Ohio Foothills Brand Launched to Boost Appalachian Ohio Tourism
A new regional tourism brand, Ohio Foothills, has been launched to promote a multi-county area in east-central Ohio as a unified travel destination. The brand covers 10 counties in Appalachian Ohio, including Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Coshocton, Guernsey, Harrison, Holmes, Jefferson, Muskingum, and Tuscarawas. Funded by the Governor’s Office of Appalachia and the Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association, the initiative aims to showcase the region's landscapes, history, and small-town charm. The brand will be used in digital marketing, social media, and visitor materials to highlight local attractions and encourage longer visitor stays.
