Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to Return to UK with Children, Not Resuming Royal Duties
Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, are planning an extended return to the United Kingdom starting this fall. Their children, Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, have already been enrolled in British schools and are set to begin classes in September. The family intends to reside in a private, non-royal residence outside of London, while maintaining their homes in Montecito, California, and Portugal. This move signifies a physical return to the UK for the family, though they will not be resuming their roles as working members of the royal family, a decision they made over six years ago when they moved to California. The Daily Telegraph initially reported this development, and when questioned by the Associated Press, Prince Harry declined to comment. Meghan will continue to lead her company, As Ever, from the UK, and Harry will dedicate more time to his UK-based charities.
