Severe Storm Causes Power Outages and Tree Damage Across Northern Kentucky
A powerful storm swept through Northern Kentucky on Tuesday evening, leaving significant damage in its wake. Approximately 30,000 residents in Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties were without power, contributing to a total of 170,000 outages across the Tri-State region. The storm brought down numerous trees, causing road blockages and property damage. Crews are actively working to clear debris and restore power. A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. Tuesday evening, with additional rain expected to exacerbate conditions. Flash flooding is possible in some areas, according to KYTC District 6. Residents are advised to exercise caution when traveling and to avoid flooded roadways.
