14-Year-Old Accused of Shooting Family Member and Transporting Victim to Cincinnati Hospital
A 14-year-old in Colerain Township, Ohio, is accused of shooting an adult family member multiple times and then driving the victim to Mercy Health-West Hospital in Green Township. Police responded to a report of shots fired on Nandale Drive around 9:30 a.m., finding evidence of a shooting but no victim at the scene. Shortly after, authorities learned of the adult male arriving at the hospital with multiple gunshot wounds, having been driven there by the teenager. The Colerain Township Police Department's Criminal Investigative Unit subsequently arrested the 14-year-old, charging him with second-degree felony felonious assault and third-degree felony tampering with evidence. The teenager was taken to the Hamilton County Juvenile Court Youth Center, while the victim was transferred to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center with serious injuries.
