Fifth Third Bancorp and Cincinnati Bengals Partner for 'Huddle for Hunger' Initiative
Fifth Third Bancorp has teamed up with the Cincinnati Bengals for the 'Huddle for Hunger' campaign, an initiative aimed at combating childhood food insecurity in Cincinnati. This partnership involves creating and distributing 4,000 'power packs' filled with shelf-stable, kid-friendly food items. These packs will be given to 1,000 children across 20 schools in November, specifically designed to provide nourishment over the weekends when school meals are not available. The Freestore Foodbank will facilitate the distribution of these packs. According to Bengals Director of Community Engagement Taylor Conklin, the collaboration highlights the power of teamwork in making a significant difference in the lives of students in Greater Cincinnati. Fifth Third Bank Cincinnati Region President Dan Feldmann emphasized the bank's commitment to supporting its community by ensuring students have access to nutritious meals, enabling them to focus on learning and succeed academically.
