Two Arrested After Fatal Hit-and-Run Kills 2-Year-Old Girl in North Charleston
A 2-year-old girl, Haisha Dominguez Marin, was killed in a hit-and-run crash in North Charleston, South Carolina, leading to the arrest of two women. The incident occurred near the intersection of Rivers Avenue and Eagle Drive, where police found the child deceased. An investigation led authorities to a 2020 Toyota Tacoma and its driver, Anayely Lovato Guerrero, 27. Guerrero reportedly told police she heard a 'bang' but did not notice anything and continued driving after leaving a Goodwill store. She has been charged with reckless homicide and leaving the scene of an accident involving death. Additionally, the child's guardian, Glaimar Alejandra Ramirez Dominguez, 21, was arrested and charged with unlawful conduct toward a child, as police found discrepancies in the circumstances surrounding the child's care and supervision. The North Charleston Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident.
