The National Weather Service (NWS) has confirmed three additional tornadoes from the severe storms that struck Ohio on August 15, 2026. These tornadoes occurred in Miami and Champaign counties, bringing the state's total tornado count for the year to 37, with 17 of those occurring in mid-August. The first tornado, rated EF-Unknown, touched down near Fletcher in Miami County, leaving a 0.6-mile path. The second tornado, rated EF0 with 65 mph winds, caused minor tree and roof damage northwest of St. Paris in Champaign County.
