GreenLight Fund Cincinnati Secures $5 Million for Next Phase of Community Impact Initiatives
GreenLight Fund Cincinnati has successfully closed its third fund, GreenLight Cincinnati Fund III, raising $5 million from nearly 60 local philanthropic investors. This new funding represents a 47% increase over its previous fund and will enable the organization to continue its mission of bringing nationally proven, evidence-based programs to Cincinnati to address critical social issues and foster economic mobility. Over the next five years, GreenLight Cincinnati plans to select and invest in four additional programs. Since its launch in 2015, GreenLight Cincinnati has invested in six programs, which have collectively reached nearly 20,000 children and families and leveraged an additional $32.6 million in follow-on funding. Notable returning supporters include John F. Barrett, Chairman, President & CEO of Western & Southern Financial Group, and John and Jen Stein, who have expanded their involvement to a national level.
