Elon Musk Attacks Filmmaker Alex Gibney, Links Him to 'Team Soros' Conspiracy Theory
Elon Musk, CEO of X, launched an angry tirade against filmmaker Alex Gibney, calling him a 'bitter old man' with 'zero integrity' after Gibney premiered a four-hour documentary critical of Musk at the Venice Film Festival. Musk described the documentary as a 'hit piece that misses' and 'boring af.' In his series of posts on X, Musk also amplified a conspiracy theory by reposting an image depicting the Democratic party controlling a 'Team Soros' puppet, which in turn controls a puppet labeled 'Alex Gibney,' and then 'Hollywood.' Musk endorsed this image as 'Accurate.' He further suggested that the documentary was a 'psy op' designed to influence public opinion. Gibney, known for his investigative documentaries, had previously stated he believed Musk was 'extremely dangerous.' Musk also denied claims made in the film, including an alleged $40 million non-disclosure agreement offer to his ex-partner.
