NullPlayer has launched a new open-source macOS media player, offering a comprehensive suite of features for audio and video playback. The application is notable for its ability to render Winamp ClassicPro and Winamp 5 (.wal) skins, making it the first open-source engine to support all Winamp skin types on macOS while integrating modern media ecosystem functionalities. NullPlayer provides a 21-band EQ, gapless playback, volume normalization, and stream ripping capabilities. It supports casting to various devices including Sonos, Chromecast, DLNA, and AirPlay.
