Assistant Secretary Telle Tours Gulf Infrastructure Projects, Joins Scalise for Coastal Construction Groundbreaking
Assistant Secretary of the Army for Civil Works Adam Telle recently concluded a four-day tour of infrastructure projects across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi. The tour, dubbed 'Building Infrastructure, Not Paperwork in Action: Gulf of America Week,' included a groundbreaking ceremony for a $3.7 billion fertilizer plant in Donaldsonville, Louisiana. During his visit to Louisiana, Telle also participated in a groundbreaking for coastal construction at Grand Isle alongside House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and Governor Jeff Landry. This project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance coastal resilience and storm protection in the region. Telle further inspected operations at Port Fourchon, where officials are working to expand dredging to support offshore energy activities in the Gulf.
