Kongsberg Secures $100 Million Contract for JSM with US Air Force
Norwegian defense company Kongsberg has signed a contract with the United States Air Force to deliver additional Joint Strike Missiles (JSM) worth approximately $100 million. The JSM is a fifth-generation strike missile with stealth capabilities, specifically adapted for the F-35A stealth aircraft. This contract follows a previous order placed in June and is part of a broader adoption of the JSM by several countries, including Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, and Norway. Deliveries are expected to be completed by the end of June 2030.
