Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders Appoints Gary Stark to Arkansas State Board of Education
Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders has appointed Gary Stark to the Arkansas State Board of Education. Stark, a seasoned educator with over three decades of experience, will replace Adrienne Woods and serve a term until June 30, 2033. Stark's background includes roles as a classroom teacher, principal, and nonprofit executive, most recently serving as a senior adviser for K-12 education with the Walton Personal Philanthropy Group. His appointment is part of Governor Sanders' efforts to strengthen the state's educational system. Stark expressed his commitment to working with the governor, board members, and educators to advance education in Arkansas.
