U.S. Politicians Investigate Alleged Chinese Funding of UK Pro-Palestinian Protests
U.S. politicians are investigating potential secret Chinese backing of Code Pink, a far-Left feminist protest group, which has organized numerous protests in the UK against British involvement in Gaza. The investigation is part of a broader inquiry into foreign interference and includes examining £250,000 in alleged payments to a UK company linked to Code Pink. These payments reportedly originated from firms connected to Neville Roy Singham, a tech tycoon accused of financing Chinese propaganda worldwide. Code Pink has been active in the UK, organizing demonstrations and issuing statements claiming that Britain’s leaders have been 'bought by Zionism.' The group has also run a campaign titled 'China is not our enemy.' A congressional committee has stated that Code Pink, co-founded by Singham's wife, Jodie Evans, appears to have been 'funded and influenced by Mr. Singham and the communist Chinese government.' Code Pink has previously denied these allegations, calling them 'a big fat lie.'
