Avincis, Europe's largest aerial emergency services operator, has reported completing over 9,200 firefighting flight hours and nearly 3,900 missions across Spain, Portugal, and Italy during the 2026 wildfire season. This marks a significant increase in activity, nearly doubling from the previous year. The company operates a fleet of approximately 70 aircraft, including 22 Canadair water bombers, and employs over 545 professionals across these countries. Avincis is headquartered in Lisbon, Portugal, and works closely with public authorities and emergency organizations to provide scalable aerial emergency responses.
