Human Rights Watch Seeks Senior Researcher for Israel/Palestine Human Rights Abuses
Human Rights Watch (HRW) is actively seeking a Senior Researcher for its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Division to document and analyze human rights abuses in Israel/Palestine. This full-time position, with an application deadline of September 26, 2026, aims to advocate for an end to these abuses and for redress. The Senior Researcher will be responsible for developing and implementing a research and advocacy agenda focused on improving respect for human rights, including civil, political, social, and economic rights. Key responsibilities include monitoring and documenting human rights abuses and laws-of-war violations by collecting information from various sources, writing reports, briefing papers, and news releases, and developing advocacy strategies. The position requires a minimum of seven years of experience in human rights or humanitarian law, ideally in the Middle East and/or North Africa, and an advanced degree in a relevant field.
