Actor Josh Hutcherson Promotes Pet Adoptions at California Animal Shelter
Actor Josh Hutcherson visited the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles location in Long Beach, California, to advocate for shelter pet adoptions. During his visit, Hutcherson toured the facility, volunteered his time, walked dogs, and played with kittens. This marks the second consecutive year Hutcherson has partnered with Hill’s Pet Nutrition to support 'Clear The Shelters,' NBCUniversal Local’s annual pet adoption and donation campaign. Hutcherson, a proud owner of two large pit bulls named Driver and Manchi, emphasized his long-standing love for animals and the importance of finding good homes for shelter pets. He adopted Driver at age 19 and Manchi a few years later, noting their significant presence in his life. The 'Clear The Shelters' adoption campaign runs throughout August, with the donation drive continuing until September 15.
