FBI Arrests 'Skid Row Lord' for Alleged Massive Ballot Harvesting Scheme in California

Federal agents have arrested James Brass, also known as 'Lord,' an alleged election fraud ringleader, in Victorville, San Bernardino County, California. Brass is accused of orchestrating a massive ballot harvesting scheme where he allegedly paid homeless individuals on Skid Row to sign California ballot petitions using the stolen identities of real voters. The FBI apprehended Brass just before dawn after surveilling his residence. He allegedly operated his scheme through a company he owns, Pinnacle Brass, which is registered with the California Secretary of State. Brass reportedly received approximately $41,600 from petition management coordinators for collecting signatures for about a dozen different ballot initiatives. Two other individuals, Courtney Price and Jateisha Herron, who allegedly worked for Brass as petition circulators, have also been charged.
